She spent years struggling to reclaim her health and vitality after life threatening complications from surgery to remove an ovarian cyst. At 35 years old, Misty started fighting for the quality of her life, enduing many more challenges on her road to healing including an unexplained 45 pound weight gain, debilitating brain fog, fatigue, hypothyroidism and premature ovarian failure.
